haha so these few days have just been going out and reaching home at night.
as a result i have totally no more money left.
but its alright, i’m seriously finding a job with daryl,
primarily to accompany him.
as well as to earn some extra cash

but today’s search was futile.
we went to vivo after the hp review after a quick stop at kap.
while yonghao ben chai kwan went to watch DOA,
daryl jerry and i went running around the entire complex to look for shops hiring part time workers.
to no avail.
cos the closest was Gap which required us to work till the end of jan.
so we turned him down.
we might go try town tmr, see how(:

fri and sat were both spent at the esplanade.
fri with yonghao ben kwan chai glenn sitting around after dinner
and an entire day cruising arnd town, lan.
saturday with ben joch neh sylvia ying and amanda.
sat around playing cards, ran around, prank called.
and specially for me, doing forfeits -.-
and sang a birthday song for jackson(:

sunday finally stayed at home.
i liked it.

monday was HCL o’s.
wasnt that hard(:
after that we went to lan, again.

so yeah.
hols already started.

oh yes. so we won HIC, sweeping most of the awards. 4/9, including the best overall play. and more importantly the most entertaining play. nothing much to say about it, it speaks for itself(: so if you werent there tooo bad hahaha.

anyway, i love HP ProEd 06! even though i most probably wont be able to make it into HP next year, i definitely wont forget everything we’ve all gone through together yeah(((: it was the best decision ever made in high school. recently i’ve gotten to know a couple of ppl i didnt use to know that well better, like jerry yonghao. and forged better ties with ppl like benpoh, chai, kwan, daryl, sean, louis, glenn, paul.

oh my god grad night was simply amazing(: the 8 course dinner wasnt much, though we didn’t expect much. then it was mainly going around taking photos with diff ppl, watching the programmes the council organised.

but the real climax was when they screened the pictures and the batch sang saltwater and etc. onwards. omfg all of a sudden so many ppl started crying. jijo started first, and sean was laughing at him. but by the middle of the second song he himself was crying like mad. the whole batch of sec 4s were all singing at the top of our voices, and it was damn emotional. in the end everybody was hugging everybody and all. and i mean EVERYBODY.

anyway, even though we’ll still see one another next year in college, it’ll be different i guess.  hopefully we’ll still have little gatherings and all.

in retrospect, these 4 years were the best. the little things we did, 2G04, 4G06, uktrip 05, joining badminton, the different camps, sec 2 camp, obs and chiangmai. KL trip. as well as all the performances. INDIAN DANCE! 4g class dance, teachers day dance, as well as HIC. best of all, i think the best thing in hci is HP Proed sec4 06. never have i regretted joining HP (actually thats a lie; i have but thats all history). i guess i’ve really enjoyed all the different experiences we’ve gone through. scoldings by slim, the interesting lessons with ngsc, laurang, ahnee(: yeah i miss ms ng.

yeah theres still a lot more i can’t recall now, but be rest assured every single experience that everyone has gone through togethr will always stay in my heart.

there’s just 2 more days to go. let’s just enjoy what time we have left together these 2 days; and the first step to enjoying yourself is to come down to drama centre tmr 7 pm to catch our play at HIC. the dance will suck, but the play is veryvery good!  so must must come down to support.

i’ve been rather busy lately, in fact super busy.

what else but HIC. it’s like the dance is so damn difficult, and the choreographing is so damn hard, and most of all laurang is rushing us like crazy to get it done. like we only finished the script today and she wants everyone to have memorised our lines by tmr. and friday’s the full dress in drama centre. wth??????

regarding hp application, i’ll just submit it and let fate decide(: even if i dont get in i’ll still take the subject combi i want anyway, so i don’t wanna think about it anymore.

okay thats all for today. need to go edit the script and finish learning the stupid dance.

things are just so effed up now

but i think i’m gonna let it rest and try to relax.

nigel just found out today that he has asthma; surely that has more cause for depression than some stupid lousy grades.

actually, only one subject that i’m so damn disappointed about, but heck, screw the hp scholarship.

i wont think about anything else until i need to.

this absolutely sucks.

oh god.  i’m just feeling really, really worried, i think i wont be able to sleep tonight.

HAHAHAH! woohoo got back history today. yeah it’s an A2. though it’s one of the easiest subjects to score an A1, i’m happy that i managed to catch my 2, given that i started on my last essay 5 mins before pensdown.  thankfully the extra 25 mins i spent on sbq were well-spent, else i’ll be dead.

anw, plus geog i only need b3 for overall a1. so pray that i’ll secure 2 AUs of a1.

maths is damn screwed. i heard a lot of ppl failed. and one geper got 2/80??? waaaaaaaa.  so i pray for 70 marks to get my a1): die man.

english and chinese i’m half-confident only. cos chinese essay i went to do narrative again even though he keeps telling us dnt do. some touching story i wrote mannn. but he doesnt always appreciate):

the past few days have been quite relaxed apart from the usual worrying of results. csed, gbed, whatever shit. yesterday we went to watch WTC. not that nice i feel. i bet rob-b-hood or the bigass horror will be nicer la, but they all ang moh sai wanted WTC. halfway through the show sth cocked up with the system so we were like sitting there waiting for the screen to come back. after that we went to sit at BK to discuss our HIC performance.

yeah so tmr daryl jerry ben and i are going to michael’s condo function room with mirrored walls to start learning the dance. the 3rd dance that the 4g hpians are learning within 3 months or so.  and the drama plot is daryl’s brainchild this time(: we’re gonna beat the hp gepers(((((((((:

and i’ve decided to apply for HP. dont care if i can make it or not, slim said just go for it anyway. so i’ll just try i guess.

so today after history paper check ben daryl chai kwan glenn and i went to college side open house to look around. bummed around for quite a few hours, listening to the hilarious talk, speaking with the angmoh humans teachers and walking around the cca exhibits. around 2 plus we decided to go RJ to look around at their items like their HP booth and the mass talk cum qna. almost wanted to go up and ask some stupid question but kwan didnt dare so i didnt do it either.  in our uniform we got quite a bit of stares lol.

yeah i’ll go cs with hazel now(: and wish me good luck man, monday we’ll be getting like 4 or 5 papers back.

i almost couldn’t finish my history paper today as expected. but what was worse was that i wouldn’t even have finished it if stevie had not taken his time to talk rubbish and collect the papers slowly and closing one eye to my frantic continuation of writing.

source-based was bad. it wasnt particularly hard; UN came out as expected, but i took too long once again, lost track of time and took 1 hr 10 mins instead of the supposed 45 mins. so i only had about 35 mins to write 2 essays, and i initially wanted to dedicate 25 mins to each question. so after i finished writing my first essay i had 5 mins left. and i started freaking out and getting all jumpy. so i was rushing like mad so i expect the mark to be like shit; i just wrote what came to mind. anyway i ended up scribbling for 7 more mins after the 5 mins, cos i was writing away fast (3 more paragraphs in fact– 2 L5s and 1 L4) while stevie talked and collected the others’ papers– luckily i was the last few. so i guess writing for 7 more mins count as cheating huh. haha yonghao would laugh at me if i get screwed. but it wasnt only me; glenn sim also.

and i forgot to mention that during the exam he took my graphic calc to see see. and in the morning i absentmindedly typed “f***” in bold for no reason i swear. but i didnt delete it. so i bet he got a shock when he turned it on. i just took it out of my bag and see if he did anything to it. the K is gone.

anyway, finally something for me to be happy about– i finished CL paper II 5 mins before time! it’s like i’ve never accomplished it over the past year; this is the first! normally i take 1 more min after the invigilator says stop. yeah so it’s an improvement. and its relatively easy except for the cloze passage. the worst thing is i dont need much to get my a1, only 62! then the rest i need like at least 68 or so, and sciences i need a1 to get a1. physics 80 for a1 in fact. so its totally shit.

monday is maths paper 1 and geog. GEOG, OMG! i just hope for a B grade, that way i should be able to get a1 if my history doesnt screw up.

okay i’ll chiong maths tmr and spend one full day on geog. i’ve finished studying weather and .5climate already! like 2 wks ago. not bad la.

it’s gonna be very relaxed after monday. maths paper II, Lit and chinese paper I. study what?

omggggg, the year is really coming to an end very soon.

sigh.

ps. i just noticed the severity of the haze today afternoon. horrrrrrrible.

yay by this time next week exams would be over!

but in the meantime, work hard yeah(:

physics was seriously a torture to sit through. none of the questions i was certain of an answer. i got through the whole paper by guessing and praying. and i thought chem and bio were bad enough already.. nvm at least my lousiest subjects are over already. i pray that i’ll get my a1 for the rest of the subjects.

damn i think i will break the record for slowest worker ever. For all 3 sciences when the invigilator said 5 minutes remaining i had like one entire essay question left. and same for mcq; for bio i had 6 out of 30 qns not finished after 40/45 minutes. and for english ppr2 she asked me to stop writing twice. and i almost couldnt finish both papers 1and2.

tmr it’s chinese paper 2 and history. are they crazy or what? HCL paper 2 is like 4 compres 1 cloze and 1 summary to be finished in 2 hours, and i almost couldnt finish it last term. history is 2 essays and 1 full SBQ in 1.5 hr, which i didnt have time to write L5 for, during the mock exam. so i guess im kinda screwed, cos theres only 45 mins between the two papers.

maths, lit, geog and chinese paper 1 next week. all of this i’ve never finished before time before. so i guess i’m a record breaker eh. it’s damn unnerving to see the ppl around me finishing their papers already and i just merely made it past the halfway mark. ppl like nick neo…

yay, im gonna lock up all my science notes, since im almost quite certain i wont need them in jc anymore.

Tmr is chemistry exam.. i’m just jotting down this random thought that passed my head. the first time we did chemical equations in sec 2, leowry told us its like two couples at a party and exchanging partners.

end of story.

i’m damn depressed; bio went horribly wrong and i forgot every shit that i studied. got a few mcq correct, i think, by tikam-ing. anyway, i’m know im gonna fail bio, i just know it.

no choice, i just have to pull up my socks and buck up. chem looks relatively easy to study compared to bio, but theres still physics on thurs, which is another paper im absolutely certain i’ll fail by a hugehugehuge margin.
