hihi long time no see
wow 10th November seems like eons ago it probably is but anyway even though everyone’s probably over it already let me exclaim WOOOOOOO A LEVEL’S FINALLY OVER! 2 years of college ed, 4 of high sch, 6 of primary sch, 10 in total…………… hah.
Anyway, wanted to blog since forever but indeed many many reasons have delayed this post. busy with going out, watching Ten Brothers online (i know quite a few canto phrases now) and facebook Tetris / Word challenge / typing speed / other rubbish.
Trying very hard not to think about my A’s, of course. And it isn’t easy because i’m positive i’ve lost A (hopefully not a B) for Lit already. and probably gp. talk about irony. not that i was much better than the rest at them of course. Anyway i’m just glad the cramming days are over. though i didn’t study very hard like i wanted to for lit paper 4. but no difference la.
After intl history on the 13th it felt completely like A’s were over already. so qinsheng and yuxuan and i went over to calvin’s for a stayover and mahjong a bit and i won 30 cents haha. eh second time playing only leh haha i rocks. went for supper nearby and hung around ‘fitness corner’ and very retarded hahahaha.
Spent quite a lot of time with Nick of course but then again we’re both going elsewhere soon so not many days left boo.
Yeah i’m going to Hong Kong this saturday for a short trip till Tues. Hence i’m not going for class outing or council bbq because i’m going for yet another round of prom shopping with Nick as part of our last day together (or at least before i come back). but i’ll be scouting for stuff in hk of course. Sidenote: Prom shopping’s a big headache ugh especially with a budget.
Am going to Vietnam with Hazel and Jijo and Promking Yap from 13th to 17th. We’re going in a TOUR GROUP so cool are we. hahahaha yes we are. yesterday we went out for Sushi buffet and mini-prom shopping to satisfy hazel’s cravings and also as part of pre-trip bonding activities. mmm. Edit edit: WAH I JUST RECEIVED AN SMS! jijo said only 4 of us in the tour group. so it’s like a personal guide!!! cool shit.
hmmmm oh yes. i called up the person on the emb for emcee jobs!!! and i emailed him my photo and ‘experiences’ already. wa. i hope got no auditions. damn stressful man. but wa it’d be fun if i really get the job argh. i sound damn rubbish in the email i’ve only emceed open house and ares night so far and nearly for the biggest regret in my HC life getting mono during POP earlier this year UGH makes my blood boil to think of it. But anyway, in the email i included whatever rubbish stage experience i had like dramafeste and even damn lame sec 4 stuff like pants-dropping performance and whatnot. ANYWAY. i hope i’ll get at least the chance to go auditions haha.
If not i’ll try for relief teaching or something. And i think i’ll register for basic theory really soon? i don’t know. i bought the guidebooks already but a bit lazy ugh. If only they are like story books. The days before lit paper 4 i was reading a lot of Stephen King but didn’t seem to help in analysing Poe much haha. Anyway, many people seem to be considering relief teaching.

And i feel like going out with more people soon, class & council cliques. Hmm.
shit man i shouldn’t keep procrastinating my blogging i forgot a lot a lot of the things i wanted to talk about already.
the past week i’ve had a lot of auggie vocab floating in my head. haha.
okay life is weird nowadays but kinda exciting okay till my return from hongkong byebye everyone.
One quarter through
Okay shall take a break now have been trying to do stats for the entire day. ugh. but staying at home sucks even with looming A’s it requires a lot of focus not to touch the computer or sleep and all. reached the conclusion for the billionth time that staying at home is horrible for studying, unless it’s the day before the exam.
Random fact that made myself laugh (even though i make myself laugh quite easily, hahahaha): i saw in an sms the word ‘as’ and my first, instinctive interpretation was “A’s!!!”. talk about stress.
Okay so GP’s down, SEA history’s down, Math paper 1 down. GP essay was a pleasant surprise cos i did qn 5 which was one of the only random topics i studied before the paper. the day before that i really had no idea how or what to mug for so i just read random copies of gp bulletin, my own essays, the singapore snapshots and forefathers handout and bits of info about pet topics on google and wikipedia. actually pet topics only included quotes about anger and humour. and then i typed books vs movies into google and a host of links came up so i read a couple of pretty informative pages, and tried to rmb a couple of examples. i just had a very very slight hunch that it’d come up. and it really did, albeit a bit differently. so i was really really really surprised. compre was disappointing though. i only heard a couple of comments from others, and i actually heard it was quite okay. whereas i think i screwed up quite bad ): so my hopes aren’t high now la ugh.
sea history and maths paper 1 were okay, like really soso. not sure i’ll do well but at least i won’t fail. history i didn’t write conclusion for all the essays and Sbq on AFC was crazy unexpected. so i don’t dare harbouring too high hopes too. math i thought it was okay but this morning i calculated i might have lost like 30 plus marks already so GGGGG. pray paper 2 will be fine.
heard this week’s the science ppl’s crazy week. next week will be ours, lit p1, econs p1p2 and intl history within 4 days.
good luck again everyone. wanted to blog about dream last night but on second thought it’s not that interesting in words, cause it’s really really actiony so okay good night.

Ps. i’m happy obama won, even though my dad says there’s gonna be more attempted murders. i’m surprised i actually feel this glad he won, haha. cos i know i’ll be damn upset if mccain ends up arguably the most powerful leader on earth, given the little i know about their campaigns. anyway, three cheers for the beloved obama
