BLOCK LEAVE ):
The worst thing about me, or maybe me and the rest of pessimistic mankind, is that i only enjoy something nice if it’s part of the near future. not when it’s the present. the thought of it being over is frankly speaking quite suffocating and depressing. tmr is wednesday already, and in another 2 days’ time we’ll find out our posting. and another 2 days, hell begins once more.
the past few days were pretty well-spent, nonetheless.
last wed – watched hannah montana with nick. it was okay. haha. okay la okay la it was above expectations. positively interesting, heartwarming???
last thurs – went to sentosa with the section and got all burnt up. till now i’m still peeling. that said, i’m like blacker than jijo now, which i never imagined was possible. good job NS, good job sentosa! this is about as dark as i would ever get in my lifetime i guess. anyway the trip was fun la, attendance was not bad.
last fri – accompanied nick at island creamery while she tried to study. hahahaha. i am a potent distraction, although i try very hard not to. realised i was feverish from the sunburn and took meds and chinese herbs for 2 days. and continued my tour de singapore.
saturday – went to lynn’s house with calvin and qinsheng for her very belated housewarming. we all thought it was a class gathering of sorts, but the only classmate out of the girls there was xuerong. still it was very enjoyable, the chitchat and korean f4. after which the 3 of us went for drinks at clarke quay and then macs for supper. reached home at 2.30 on a cab.
sunday – junjie, ernest and i celebrated hazel and jijo’s 19th with dinner at MOF, then dessert at Changing Appetites, then long chitchat by the kerb of somewhere in cityhall, then supposedly home. but suddenly decided to go for drinks at chijmes so we did. and hazel and i felt hungry so we headed to macs for supper. reached home at 3.30 on a cab.
monday – met hazel for SUSHI BUFFET dinner at raffles place. thanks to his cravings. but i enjoyed it la thankfully. then we very gaily went to watch Ghosts of Girlfriends Past. it was a damn nice show, part touching part funny. and for the uninitiated, no it’s not a horror! it was so romantic it was hilarious during the final kissing scene i turned to look at hazel and he nearly died from the sheer gaiety of it all; as well as the fact that practically everybody inside were (boy-girl) couples.
TODAY! – for lack of a better euphemism, i Rested and Recuperated at home, but till now i am Still Very Bored.
But i know i wouldn’t get to feel like this again in a very very very very long time. Oh army, how i wish you didn’t exist.
